Here you will find our range of plaster ceiling roses / centre pieces.

Our design’s cover all periods of property, from Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian through to modern day. All of our plaster ceiling roses / centre pieces are handmade by our time served craftsmen in our workshops using traditional methods and Gypsum plaster, just as they did 200 years ago.

We keep a large range in stock, which are available to buy online. You can collect from our showroom or delivery within 5 to 7 working days. We also offer an installation service.

Fibrous Plaster

Fibrous plasterwork is made up of Plaster of Paris [Gypsum] reinforced with a layer of hessian fabric and Timber Laths.

From around 1856 it has been widely used and is one of many Architectural innovations from the Victorian period.

Traditionally Decorative plasterwork was  produced in a lime-based material and hand-modelled.

Gypsum was also used where locally available .

Fibrous Plaster offered many advantages, such as casting complex designs off site while buildings where constructed, Thus giving quicker installation times.

Fibrous Plasterwork could also be decorated much sooner than traditional lime plasterwork which needed more time to Carbonate and dry out before decoration.

We cover all aspects of lime plasterwork and cornices both internally and externally from restoration and replication.

Creating completely new but still working in lime using all the traditional methods from old.
